The Colchagua Valley is located in the O’Higgins Region, in central Chile, and is a pioneer in promoting the appellation of origin (D.O.) and the first to create its own Wine Route. Located in the cradle of Chilean traditions, the Colchagua Valley is recognized for the production of premium wines and has been the most awarded Valley in international competitions in recent years. In general terms, the Colchagua Valley has a pre-cordilleran sector, Los Andes, a Central sector or plain, and the Coastal sector with predominant influences from the Pacific Ocean. The ancestors of the Silva family are recognized as forerunners of this generous valley.
In 2006, the Silva Family began planting their vineyards in Futrono, Austral Region, in Chilean Patagonia, making Viña Casa Silva the first Chilean winery to produce wines from their vineyards with a designation of origin, from such a remote place, the Austral Region of the south of the world.

Located on the northeast edge of the Colchagua Valley, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, our Los Lingues Vineyard has a unique Terroir, represented by its microclimate and by a soil of alluvial-colluvial origin. The unique character of this Terroir and the excellence of the wines obtained here led it to be officially recognized as a new Denomination of Origin in Chile.
The Carmenere from our Los Lingues Vineyard has become a characteristic benchmark, thanks to the important terroir studies led by Viña Casa Silva, constantly obtaining countless high scores and recognition at a national and international level.
In this sector, we can also find high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon, and small amounts of Petit Verdot, among other varieties.

Located in front of the Andes Mountains, this field is the origin of the family business with vines brought from France by the First Generation. In this vineyard, you can also find our Centennial Cellar, which despite its age, is a pioneer in technology in the production and storage of wines.
Old plantations dating from 1912, such as Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillón, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Malbec, along with other heritage vines such as Romano, Black Muscat, and Pink Muscat; to which Merlot and Chardonnay are added, they form an important patrimonial wealth that Viña Casa Silva maintains with great care.

Our Lolol Vineyard is located in an area of the Colchagua Valley, typical of Chilean traditions. The short distance from the Pacific Ocean, 30 kilometers in a straight line, contributes to lowering the temperatures during the night allowing the natural preservation of the acidity and flavors of the grape.
From this beautiful vineyard, Viña Casa Silva obtains excellent Syrah and Viognier, recognized by specialists and wine lovers, as well as red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

Only 7 kilometers separate our Paredones Vineyard from the waters of the Pacific Ocean. A unique and pioneering terroir at the Cool Coast, in the Colchagua Valley. Remarkable for its natural beauty and in a very little exploited sector, where the nature of the Chilean coast is shown in its maximum splendor.
A terroir that receives the influence of the sea breeze, which regulates the temperature of the vineyard, helping to naturally preserve the flavors, aromas, and acidity of the fruit and that together with its soil of great mineral character where Viña Casa Silva can develop extraordinary varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay.

The pioneering spirit of the Silva Family led them to decide, in 2006, to plant their Futrono Vineyard. Close to the Andes mountain range, between 2 mountains and on a slope that gently falls towards Lago Ranco, a very special and particular terroir is formed.
Viña Casa Silva was the first to produce wines from its vineyards, with the designation of origin, from such a remote part of the world.
Despite its Patagonian location, temperature variations are regulated by the liquid surface of Lake Ranco, thus preventing potential frosts that could damage the fruit. The slope of the hillside ensures good sun exposure and good water drainage. It is in this special and remote terroir that wonderful Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Riesling of overcooked quality emerge.
